Christine (Ponyville chronicles) Chapter 2

"Ugh my head" Christine says, rubbing it lightly, while now being able to survey everything properly. She can see that she is in a cabin of some sort, or built inside a tree, hard to tell from the inside she thinks. While noticing a definite nature theme everywhere, with floral arrangements and trinkets about, she can hear cheerful whistling from the kitchen. Still hurt pretty bad, she tries to get up for the first time since landing head first into what she'll soon discover is Ponyville. Lifting herself up slowly starting with her torso, she sits up, wincing in pain but bearable, next she tries to get up off the couch, the strain is too great and she falls knocking over a lamp and end table, startling her host who was in the kitchen, preparing tea and cookies.

"DAMMIT!!!" Christine yells, as Fluttershy rushes in to see what the matter was
"O-oh my" Fluttershy says softly helping Christine to her hooves
"Thank you" She says, showing obvious signs of pain, but showing signs of anger in her face
"Oh…um…your…welcome" Fluttershy says to her "why…were…you…trying..to..leave?"
"Wasn't trying just yet" she says, letting Fluttershy sit her up back on the couch "I was taking an assessment" she replied back
"What do you mean?" Fluttershy says in a soft barely noticeable voice
"I mean I was trying to figure out if I could still drive, sorry I mean walk" Christine tells her, the rage on her face still not subsiding looking at her hooves "speaking of which, what exactly are you and am I?"
"Oh you honestly don't know?" Christine shakes her head, "that's odd…I mean sorry it's just…how do you not know you're a pony?" Fluttershy says to her "you look like one to me, if that's ok with you… I mean"
"I see" She replies calmly but stunned "I'm sorry if it seems weird, but I'm not exactly from around here"
"Oh really?" Fluttershy asks Christine nods "Then let me be the first to welcome you to Ponyville"  
"Ponyville? What in the hell is a Ponyville?" Christine asks quite puzzled and very much confused feeling her mind race still trying to figure out why she is a pony now.
"it's where I live and a bunch more ponies as well" Fluttershy smiles, "everypony is so kind and wonderful, I know you'll just love it here" blushes "oh I'm sorry I forgot to ask what was your name again?" Fluttershy asked in her soft barely hearable voice
"Christine" giving a forced smile, Fluttershy then continues "you said you weren't from around here you mind if I ask where you are from?" squeaks for a moment "I mean if that's…ok with you"
"Oh I'm from Detroit" She says, "what's a DEE-TROYET?" Fluttershy asks sweetly and confusedly causing Christine to giggle for the first time in a long time as a knock comes from the door.
Fluttershy goes to answer it and a purple unicorn steps into the room, she has pink and a light purple stripes in her hair, Fluttershy offers her a seat and Christine has two ponies staring at her.
"Hello" the purple pony says to Christine "How are you feeling"
"Horrible" Christine tells her "I can't even drive" she says exasperated
"Drive?" the purple asks as she gives Christine a blank and unknowing stare "my books have never said anything about a drive" claps her hooves together excitedly "yay a new subject for to me learn I'm so happy" starts to ramble on about different things
"Pssst Fluttershy is she always like this?" Christine asks in a hushed tone, Fluttershy simply nods yes "great" she says under her breath
"Oh I'm sorry, my name is Twilight Sparkle" she says "and you are"
"Like I told Fluttershy, my name is Christine" sniffs the air "is something burning?" Fluttershy freaks out and runs into the kitchen where her cookies are completely burnt, she comes back with a sad expression on her face, and about to cry. Twilight walks over and hugs her, "it's ok" she says "they still look good" grabs one and takes a bite, making all sorts of faces to hide the fact it tastes awful. Christine tries not to bust out laughing her plot off over Twilights facial expressions, but noticing it's also cheering up Fluttershy a bit. They both come back over to Christine.
"Looks like you've had quite the fall" Twilight says examining her "here I can fix that" her horn glows a pinkish glow as Christines wounds and aches disappear, the pain goes with it.
"How did yo-"she gets cut off "Magic" Twilight says "they don't have magic where you're from?" Christine just simply shakes her head no "fascinating" Twilight replies back with intrigue.
"Thank you I feel great!" Christine exclaims with much excitement "Now I can finally move around"
"Your very welcome" Twilight tells her "now do you mind if I ask you some questions and then we can take a tour of Ponyville if you'd like" she smiles "Sure" Christine says her anger all gone and just a big bright smile on her face "ask away"
